FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Opening Hours. Rick Shores is closed on Mondays. Reservations Tuesday-Thursday operate 11:30-8:30pm. Reservations Friday-Saturday operate 11-9pm and Sunday reservations operate 11-6:45pm. The kitchen closes daily from 4:30pm-5:30pm but the venue remains open throughout.

Q. Dietary Requirements. Rick Shores is happy to cater for dietary requirements, we do just request you give us advance notice where possible to ensure we can prepare something to suit your needs.

Q. Group Bookings. Groups of 7 or more adults will dine from a choice of $85 per person or $130 per person banquet menu. Children 13- are not required to dine from our set menu and can dine from our kids selection.

Q. 2 Pax Reservations. Groups of two typically dine along our side by side bench style seating, with larger groups occupying our tables.

Q. Oceanside Dining Requests. Waterfront dining is highly sought after, in order to be fair, we allocate these tables based on the date of booking. With those that booked furthest in advance being allocated the oceanside dining.

Q. Gift Vouchers. Vouchers can be purchased online, now valid for 3 years. We recommend making a reservation prior to purchasing a gift voucher where possible, to avoid disappointment as bookings fill up quickly!

Q. Walk In Dining. We have select seating in our bar area and on the patio, where we serve our bar snack menu, this operates on a walk in basis and our host runs a waitlist on the door. We also offer bench style seating as part of our walk in experience, where we offer the full menu and guests have the option to dine from our set degustation menu. Please be advised seating is here is not guaranteed and the wait time is an estimation.

Q. Surcharge. EFT transactions include a surcharge depending on card type e.g. Mastercard credit. Rick Shores also charges a 15% surcharge on public holidays. A 10% service charge will apply for groups of 11 or more.

Q. Split Bills. We have a strict policy of a four way maximum split on bills. Larger groups are not permitted to split payment across more than four cards, although we do accept cash payments.

Q. Dress Code. Rick Shores has a smart casual dress code- having said that, we are right on the beach, and thongs are permitted! Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times, including patio dining.

Q. Running Late? It is the guests responsibility to be on time for their reservation. Unfortunately we cannot extend a booking if you a running late due to accommodating two seatings per service. If you are running late please do let us know via text: 0433632001.

Q. Decorations. Unfortunately we do not permit balloons or table confetti, as we aim to protect Rick Shores surrounding environment from waste. We appreciate your understanding.
